Nothing says classy like a signature red lip. It exudes a sense of power and sexiness at the same time. But you don't have to be a superstar to pull off the crimson pout. A bold pop of red will up the fashionista in anyone's look!

STEP 1: Exfoliate your lips. This removes all of the dead skin, leaving a smooth surface for the lip products to be applied. Use a tablespoon of sugar and honey or olive, rub the scrub onto your lips, leave it on for a minute and wipe off with a damp washcloth.

STEP 2: After the exfoliation, you need to put moisture back into your lips. Do this by applying a lip balm, lip conditioner or even simple vaseline. 

STEP 3: Choose your favourite red lipstick, it does not have to be an expensive brand. Make sure the colour suits your complexion and that you can wear it with confidence.

STEP 4: Choose a lip liner as close to your lipstick as possible. A lip liner will give your lips a precise and clean look and will also give the lipstick something to hold on to making it last throughout the day. Outline your lips with the liner and fill in the entire lip to create a base.

STEP 5: Apply the lipstick all over the lips and if you want to, add a gloss! 

STEP 6: After the application of the lipstick, form an "O" with your lips, put your index finger through the "O," and slowly pull it out, this will prevent the lipstick from getting on your teeth.

STEP 7: Finally, the lips needs to be as precise and bold. Taking a bit of concealer (your correct shade) clean around the perimeter of your lips. This gives your lips a cleaner finish and sharper look. Make sure you blend the concealer out and add a powder over the concealer to set it.
